At this stage due to COVID-19 we have postponed the Women’s Forum which was due to take place in May. A working group has been established to identify the challenges facing women in Noosa including affordable housing, homelessness, job opportunities, underemployment and violence. We will reconvene in the not too distant future, and for our ‘lads’, a Men’s Forum is also scheduled, and I look forward to working with you to address the issues that impact our ‘better halves’.
