Upcoming bitumen resurfacing work will commence on approximately 2.5 kilometres of Louis Bazzo Drive (Boreen Road), Boreen Point.

Works will involve resurfacing the road between Cootharaba Downs Road and Lake Flat Road. The resurfacing is scheduled to commence mid-November 2018 and will take approximately three days to complete, weather permitting.

TMR’s maintenance contractor will undertake the works during the day, Monday to Friday, between 5am and 5pm.
Nearby residents may experience increased noise during these works, however, TMR will work closely with the contractor to manage and minimise these impacts as much as possible.

Motorists may experience minor delays during these day works when single lane closures are in place. Traffic controllers, reduced speed limits and road signage will be in place to ensure the safety of motorists and road workers. Variable Message Signs will also provide advance notice to motorists and will be refreshed during construction to advise of the changed traffic conditions. Priority access and entry through work zone will be given to emergency vehicles.

TMR apologises for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank the local community for their patience during these important works.
