Reports from residents between Christmas and New Years of these compliance efforts have reiterated the importance of education, prevention and detection as again we had a combination of visitors and locals doing the wrong thing, including traveling during high tide. Whilst we wait for the actions from the Department of Environment and Science and the Queensland Police Service in response to long standing advocacies, Sandy asks everyone to continue to report incidents to the appropriate authorities with a CC to noosa@parliament.qld.gov.au as this is important as part of evidence gathering.
