State Government have reconvened the working group with stakeholders regarding a Code of Conduct, as the nation-wide approach sought last year was not achieved. After two years advocating in this space, it has been a frustratingly slow process, however an outcome is expected to be released in the next month from Minister Jones’ office. This process is not to be confused with Local Government and Planning Schemes, as the role of State Government and Ministers is limited to ensure schemes submitted comply with State legislation, codes and plans.
