BE (formally) COMLINK, are in the process of inducting volunteers for the SCUH Transport Pilot and it was a pleasure to join them at a meeting last week. This pilot, which is personally funded, aims to assist those in our community that have no other means to attend medical appointments and are left stranded by our system.
The pilot will also allow us to obtain a better understanding of why there are gaps in our systems and collect pertinent data to develop more permanent solutions.
