We have received the following update relating to a recent constituent’s enquiry regarding a dedicated pedestrian/cycle path along Eumundi-Noosa Road over the North Maroochy River near Seib Road:
“The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is undertaking a high level route planning study of the full length of Eumundi-Noosa Road to determine future upgrade needs. As part of the study, TMR will be reviewing active transport requirements along Eumundi-Noosa Road.
“The planning project is expected to be completed next year and any identified improvements will be assessed against competing state-wide priorities. We will be pleased to provide you with an overview of the outcomes of the planning study once it has been completed.”
