Following on from our previous updates, the Expression of Interest process for the site’s future is now finalised, and the announcement regarding the successful proponent has been delayed due to processes, so there is no further information at this stage.
From our inquiries, we understand that this site continues to be of great interest to many, however following Noosa Council’s decision not to purchase the site 2 years ago and state government subsequently running an open Expression of Interest process for its use, we are all awaiting the public announcement from the 5 shortlisted submitters.
