As a result of the Cooroy intersection improvements consultation of over a year ago, the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) have advised that they investigated both roundabouts and traffic signals as part of early planning for upgrades, and identified traffic signals as the preferred option, however the community favoured roundabouts. TMR advise they will re-engage with key stakeholders and the community when funding is available to progress this project.
