This is especially important in the lead up to the QLD VAD review 📄 in January 2026 where it is hoped that conflicts with the Commonwealth Criminal Code regarding telehealth and other issues identified by residents will be addressed🙏![]()

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐋 🦈QLD Fisheries has advised they are replacing the nets with two drumlines at numerous locations including Noosa Main Beach due to weather conditions predicted ⛈. We look forward to the outcomes of the independent review into the shark control program, announced following support in our 2024 Noosa MP survey. ![]()

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓 & 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘? 👩⚖️ By ending unsolicited political texts and postal vote application ‘hoodwinking’, as well the bickering, blame, and ‘band aiding’ that Queenslanders have had enough of. Our government has opportunity to remedy, and set a new standard in collaboration and respectful Chamber behaviours 🤛 including acknowledging our veterans. The question is, will they?
𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐒𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 🏞 The $1.1m coastal walk upgrade has been completed, which include track resurfacing, construction of new rock retaining walls, upgraded beach access points to Tea Tree Bay and Alexandria Bay, and more ✔! With resident concerns on damage from over visitation and the need for more rangers, there has been some positive progress, including the promotion of Tanglewood track as an alternative for runners. ![]()

𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 🚧 𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃, 𝐂𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐘 🛣 Noosa Council have advised that a landslip along Nandroya Road has affected the condition of the road and they are undertaking necessary precautions including a single lane closure in the area indicated on the image below, with temporary traffic lights from Tuesday 6 May 2025 until further notice. Council is currently assessing the site to determine appropriate long-term repair options and will advise work times once this is finalised.![]()
