During this time, the area will be closed to public access, including the Hakea and Emu Mountain Summit walking trails. Please follow all signage and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas ๐ซ. Smoke may affect nearby areas ๐ซ๏ธ.![]()

This year was especially meaningful with the opening of their new self-guided accessible pathway, supported by a generous contribution from the family of Jesse Baird ๐ Hearing how much he loved visiting the Butterflyโs Backyard during his time on Totally Wild made this a truly touching tribute ๐ฅฐ and I send a heartfelt hug to the Baird family ๐ Jack also made sure to stock up on delicious goodies from the Butterflies Pantry ๐โจwhich will be popping up in our hampers shortly! ๐![]()

From Monday 13 April to Wednesday 15 April, trains between Caboolture and Nambour/Gympie North will run as a shuttle service ๐ง.
