In response to recent enquires regarding potential cloud seeding or weather manipulation practices, we wrote to the new Queensland Government, whose reply did not provide any more information than the previous government.
To summarise our previous February 2023 Noosa 360 update, the then Queensland Minister for Environment responded to a parliamentary petition, that since February 2009, the Queensland Government has not undertaken any further research or operational activities on cloud seeding, in Southeast Queensland or elsewhere within the state. At the time, the minister noted in their reply that the Commonwealth Government would need to be confirmed with. As mentioned earlier, Sandy wrote to the new Minister for Environment and Queensland Government following the 2024 State Election requesting they seek information from their federal counterparts regarding. The following in italics was their response:

With Sandy as a state MP only having jurisdiction with matters under the state government, we have written to our Federal MP Llew O’Brien seeking his assistance in obtaining a response regarding cloud seeding or weather manipulation in Queensland by the Commonwealth Government.
