๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๏ธ in response to residents raising the need for an independent survey of anchored and moored boat numbers on the Noosa River, we provided a Noosa MP grant to local not for profit, Tide & Place, to undertake. โ
We thank the Tide and Place team, with takeouts including that the trend of increasing vessels has been halted, and condition of vessels assessed have improved๐ A further analysis of vessel numbers subject to MSQโs reforms will be required ongoing, and we have requested MSQ to fund this. ![]()

๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จโโ๏ธThe Minister for Health has recently advised that the future closure of the Noosa Dental Clinic is being considered due to its low utilisation rate ๐ as part of a broader infrastructure review, with staff and resources ๐ฉโโ๏ธbeing potentially relocated to Nambour. Please know this is not an imminent course of action and the governmentโs messaging emphasises โif this should happenโ, with reassurances provided that Noosa Dental Clinic ๐จwill remain open until the expansion of the Nambour Dental Clinic is completed and operational, which is not expected for at least 12-24 months. We requested that free transport for patients be provided should this closure proceed, with the response stating that an on-demand booking service for transport to alternative dental clinics will be made available free of charge for Noosa residents, with designated pick-up and drop-off points ๐![]()
