𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 👩⚖️Ever wonder what happens to your tax dollars? 🤔 The Estimates process is where questions are asked about services, resourcing and infrastructure💰 and whether what is in there or not, passes the 'pub test'! For greater efficiency and transparency, we continue to fight for reforms 💪 as unfortunately, improvements introduced last year were reversed, and changes this year fall far short of community expectations. 🔍 To read our estimates update 📜 which covers a broad range from policing to the environment, business support, tourism, and much more, visit: www.sandybolton.com/estimates-hearings-2025-summary-august-2025/... 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐌 𝐕𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓🌹A very emotional gathering in Tewantin in which I struggled in my speech to convey how much we honour our Vietnam Veterans and those we lost in the Battle of Long Tan as shared by Director Rolly. The songs by St Teresa's Catholic College Choir left us in tears, and as always, Don Drysdale’s pipes ignited the importance of reflection, as well the poem recital from Chad and Soul Waycott.🥹 Gratitude to all who attended, laid wreaths and showed their respect for these men and women, and their families🩷💐 Thank you to the Tewantin Noosa RSL Sub Branch volunteers and the local SES for making the service possible, as we should never forget the sacrifices made to enable the lives we now are so blessed to live 🕊️👉 For information on the Tewantin Noosa Sub Branch, visit rslqld.org/about-us/tewantinnoosa-sub-branch-inc👉 For information on the many lives lost from Noosa residents in the Vietnam War and Long Tan, visit noosatoday.com.au/news/23-08-2023/vietnam-war-end-50-years-on/...
