All results have been sent through to the Minister, and we will continue to track current trials whilst the Shark Net Working Group and Oceans for All Noosa continue their work to support our marine life, surfers and swimmers. ![]()

๐Increasing separation between lanes of opposing traffic by delivery of wide centre line treatments![]()
๐Road widening and resurfacing![]()
๐Installing audio tactile line marking to alert drivers if they drift from their lane![]()
๐Removing roadside hazards![]()
๐Providing safety improvements for bike riders, including sealed shoulders and left turn lanes at key intersections![]()
๐Installing targeted roadside safety barriers including motorcycle protection![]()

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) are continuing their planned burn at Cooloola Recreation Area, to the north of Teewah Village, with another ignition occuring tomorrow (24 April) from approx 1pm. This to reduce the threat of severe wildfires in periods of very high fire danger. Please observe and adhere to all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and contractors, and do not enter closed areas or exclusion zones. Notifications are being sent to all permit holders. Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Teewah Village, Teewah Beach Camping grounds, Upper Noosa River and Como areas. Persons with respiratory or other health problems should seek medical advice on mitigating the effects of smoke inhalation. The Attorney-General (AG) in response to my motion claimed that I was incorrect regarding the Commonwealth recommendation, however since has confirmed that I was factual, with Recommendation 21 stating โThe Committee recommends that section 184 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 be amended to clarify that postal vote applications must be sent directly to the Australian Electoral Commissionโs nominated addresses.โ![]()
